Event Details

Teens who live in the Suffern Central School District and who are going into grades 7-12 in the fall can sign up for our teen summer reading program. The theme this year is Oceans of Possibilities, which is all about oceans! Teens can get stamps in their summer reading logs for reading, volunteering in our children's department, coming to the multiple teen events that we'll be holding each week this summer, and filling out book reviews and coloring sheets. These stamps can be exchanged for prizes and books. Teens who get at least 20 stamps in their summer reading logs will get an invite to our end-of-summer party and the teen with the most stamps will get a $75 gift card!

Teens can sign up for our summer reading program by coming to the adult reference desk and filling out a registration form. When teens sign up, they will be given a summer reading supply bag that includes instructions, the URL of where they can sign up for volunteer hours, a reading log, flyers for events, and more. The first 100 teens to sign up will get a special sports bag.
